Makanyi Lodge

This recently commercialised lodge in the heart of the Timbavati, required the design and construction of an additional two residences, a manager’s house and offices, staff accommodation, a creative hub, reception, curio shop, a helicopter hanger and landing pad, as well as various modifications to the main lodge boma and decking area. Signal construction features include the following:

• Vertical and horizontal quartzite dry stack cladding
• Massaranduba decking
• Paintsmiths Tread Gunstone floor finishing
• Two swimming pools
• Horizontally woven lath work
• Remote gas fire places
• Caesar stone kitchen tops
